Austin's Work

Austin -
Overall I had no problems with your first set of stuff, everything fits nicely into the style, your lines have a good and varied weight, with possible exception to the steering wheel, but I can work on a concept based on your wheel (probably exaggerate the flares).

I made a few tweaks on the tent, sign and bucket;

Original Tent:

Adjusted:

No added topology. Bowed them in at the bottom and out at the top. One dips and the other bows up. Both read well from different angles, and adds variety. Final version will need additional structure to explain the bulge (perhaps 2 arches), as well as how they stick into the sand/ground (some alpha mapped or 3 sided ropes to pins, maybe, a cartoony mallet next to it will pronounce the pins). Create some relatively simple donuts and cylindrical shapes to be textured as rope bindings for the intersections of wood and we'll texture those as rope bindings.

Sign

All I did with sign was adjust the angle of the posts and tilted the face. Otherwise it looks perfect. Size variations can occur with different signs and their importance.

Bucket:

I like that you kept it simple, but it seemed like it needed something. Two additional cylinders serve as support, and the top of the top cylinder can be used for liquid texturing, with cap props (cap props: additional geometry that stick out over the top of the bucket water line) like fish, fruit, gold, w/e to add variety to different permutations. Although I think we could use both versions of this bucket (sans-support and support) with some height and width variations.

Again, overall great stuff Austin!
