"Buildings" Update



Ahoy! Here are some renders of some buildings i'm working on.

  1. Assuming things are being unwrapped, you should begin pushing the shapes of the objects more. Walkways with slight curves, oars that bend.

    The walls should become wider at the base, and narrow at the top, as well as have a slight bend.


    Look at each piece of each building, if it's the same thickness all the way through, it needs to be pinched somewhere, most FreeRealms buildings (at least in regards to trim) are thinner in the middle, even if it's just a tiny bit. If it's a straight line from any of the 3 perspectives in whatever modeling program you choose to use, then it needs to be bend.

    I see a lot of straight lines, and that's the only problem. Push the shapes and you'll have some very very nice buildings.

    In any case, these stay pretty true to the concepts which is great!

    A little more fudging about with them, and you're done.
