Fortress: Try Again

Okay, well. per Emer's comment on the fortress, I did this and made the leviathan skull more "shark like"

Though, realistically, a leviathan is often percieved as a sea dragon. ...so I personally think the other skull works better, and looks cooler. But Tell me what you guys prefer.

  1. I think the fact that Emer said it looked like a dragon skull means that you did a good job. A leviathan is nothing more than a dragon that dwells in the sea, instead of flying or running around on land.

However, adding some fish-like details to it? Surely. Shrink the nose, add some fin-like bits to it... maybe flatten out the teeth, but keep them long.

  2. Its definitely an arguement to make. Images and old paintings look like water dragons or serpent. I suppose the bible even defines it as a sort of dragon. Using a dragon head however, I think of the first descriptive words when you see a dragon head. "flying" "Fire breathing" any word that you can think of first just doesn't make me refer to something that is in the ocean. However, upon looking up possible water reptiles, I think, the closest depiction of what may look like a dragon is maybe a crocodile or the prehistoric "plesiosaur" or "Liopleurodon" since these animals are aquatic. Just my 2 cents. Ultimately, its what the SOE dudes will approve of.

  3. Emer, you probably know better than any of us what SOE wants. And I think I speak for the team when I say that your advisement is some of the best we can get.
